Police show fragments of Shahed drone after Russian overnight attacks

The explosives experts have destroyed the fragments of an Iranian-manufactured Shahed suicide drone found in the Kyiv region after Russian overnight attacks on Monday, February 27, 2023.
The relevant statement was made by Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region Andrii Niebytov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The fragments of the enemy Shahed were destroyed by the Kyiv region’s explosives experts. The parts of the drone shot down by the anti-aircraft defense units were found after yesterday’s overnight attacks in one of the Kyiv region’s districts. During the inspection, the police found a fragment of the strike drone’s warhead with a detonator and neutralized it at the scene,” Niebytov noted.
