In the captured territories of Ukraine’s Luhansk region, Russian forces are urgently preparing comprehensive lists of local 16-year-old male youths.

That’s according to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

The corresponding preliminary draft commissions have already been deployed, the administration wrote on Telegram.

"Before March 31, they need to locate and register all males male born in 2006, living in the so-called ‘LPR.’ That is, those who can be thrown to the front line to replace Russian troops next year," the statement reads.

Draft notices are being handed to conscription-age citizens who have not been put on draft lists, while occupation authorities have also stepped up efforts to locate those attempting to dodge the illegal draft.

If identified, such persons shall be detained and immediately taken to a conscription office.

"Recently, the minimum term of the first military contract between the Russian army and foreign nationals has been reduced from 5 years to 1 year. The corresponding amendments have already been adopted. This will allow the enemy to cover the most problematic spots with soldiers from other countries sooner," said the Administration.

Forcible naturalization of occupied Luhansk region’s residents continues. Recently, invaders have imposed restrictions on free movement between settlements for all civilians who are not holders of Russian passports.
