Russia experiencing "ammo hunger," set to do everything to buy more arms - Air Force spox

That’s according to Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesman for the Air Force Command, who spoke at a briefing hosted by Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center on Monday.

Answering a question about Russia’s current stocks of missiles and drones, Ihnat said: "Everyone wants to believe that they are running low. But we shouldn’t make hasty conclusions. Russia will do everything to get as many weapons as possible for its war against Ukraine."

According to the spokesman, the invaders are increasingly complaining about their "ammunition hunger" on the battlefield as supplies dwindle.

"Russia will do everything possible, maybe look for third countries, in order to purchase both artillery rounds and drones, as well as missiles," the spokesman said.

In this regard, he emphasized that Ukraine should strengthen both missile and drone defenses, and also look for as many sources as possible of providing security assistance to Kyiv.

As reported, the defense forces destroyed 13 of the 15 Shahed kamikaze drones launched by the Russian army over Ukraine overnight Monday.
