EU to allocate EUR 1B to compensate for immediate delivery of ammunition to Ukraine

EU defense ministers have agreed to a proposal to provide Ukraine with immediate military aid, including 155mm and 152mm artillery shells, with EUR 1 billion to be allocated from the European Peace Facility for the reimbursement of the delivery.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said this at a press conference in Stockholm on Wednesday following an informal meeting of EU defense ministers, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
