Yermak, Zaluzhnyi brief Biden's advisor, General Milley on Bakhmut defense developments
That’s according to Yermak’s posting on Telegram, seen by Ukrinform.
"We talked about the operational situation at the front and the possible actions on the part of the enemy. Separately, we focused on our defense of Bakhmut and the measures taken to ensure the stability of the positions of Ukrainian forces on the Donetsk axis," he wrote.
In the call, Yermak emphasized the importance of continued military and financial support to Ukraine.
The head of the President’s Office also thanked the American people, Joe Biden’s administration, and Congress for a reliable strategic partnership and support of Ukraine in its fight for sovereignty, de-occupation of all its lands, and compliance with international law and the UN Charter.
As reported, speaking at the United for Justice Conference in Lviv, Yermak said that the world needs to have the widest possible international institution to ensure Russia’s accountability for aggression against Ukraine. This institution must have the highest level of recognition, which would allow for striking a powerful legal blow against specific culprits.
