Russian missile attack on Ukraine: Explosions rock Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district

A number of explosions were heard in Ukraine’s capital city of Kyiv throughout the night amid the ongoing air raid alert.
Mayor Vitaly Klitschko confirmed that a number of blasts rang out in the city’s Holosiivskyi district.
"Emergency services scrambled to the scene. More details will be provided later," the mayor added.
Overnight Thursday, an air alert was announced throughout the territory of Ukraine.
In the early hours of Thursday, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration said air defense systems were activated in the region, engaging incoming targets.
