Poland ready to hand over MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine in four to six weeks

"This [transfer of MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine] may happen within the next four to six weeks," Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference in Warsaw, Ukrinform reports.

As reported earlier, President of Poland Andrzej Duda expressed his country's readiness to hand over MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, which the Ukrainian military can immediately use in combat operations.

Duda previously stated that the country had little potential to send F-16 jets to Ukraine.
