Russians shell three communities in Sumy region
The Sumy regional military administration said this in a post on the messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Throughout the day, the Russians shelled the territories of three communities: Bilopillia, Shalyhyne and Seredyna-Buda. Six enemy attacks using various weapons were recorded - 51 hits/shots," the report reads.
In the morning, the Russians used a helicopter to launch a rocket attack (five strikes) on the outskirts of Seredyna-Buda. A private residential building was damaged.
Throughout the day, the invaders fired AGS automatic grenade launchers (up to 20 shots), mortars (12 hits) and artillery (7 hits) on the Bilopillia community.
The Shalyhyne community was under self-propelled artillery fire - 7 hits.
According to reports from the military, the operational situation in the border areas of the Sumy region is currently under control. The formation of hostile offensive groups near the state border was not detected.
