Enemy shells Nikopol district with heavy artillery, drones
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, from morning to evening, the Nikopol district shuddered from shelling. The enemy attacked the district with heavy artillery and UAVs. The Pokrovsk, Nikopol, and Marhanets communities were hit. There are no casualties," the post said.
In the Pokrovsk community, an outbuilding and a car caught fire due to shelling. Firefighters put out the blaze. A shop, a private enterprise, ten houses, five outbuildings, and a minibus were damaged. Two cars were damaged, and one more was destroyed. Gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.
Russian shells also caused destruction in Nikopol. A private enterprise and six houses were damaged there.
In the Marhanets community, the consequences of the shelling are still being determined.
On March 13, the Russians shelled the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region six times. A transport company was damaged.
