Russians massively shell border areas of Kharkiv region. Casualties reported
“Vovchansk suffered the most from the enemy shelling. Civilian industry objects, shops, and a fire and rescue station were damaged in strikes,” Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
A 55-year-old woman was killed as an enemy projectile hit a car, a 47-year-old driver was injured and hospitalized.
Private residential buildings and infrastructure objects were damaged in a Russian attack on the village of Kolodiazne, Kupyansk district. A 42-year-old civilian, who was driving a car during the shelling, was killed.
A 58-year-old civilian received a shrapnel injury in the village of Dvorichna, Kupyansk district. He received medical assistance on the spot.
Humanitarian demining activities are ongoing in the region. According to Syniehubov, 142 explosive objects were disposed of over the past day.
