President awards military at hospital in Donetsk region
“During a working trip to Donetsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited a hospital where the wounded Ukrainian service members, including the defenders of Bakhmut, are being treated,” the press service of the Head of State informs.
As noted, the President spoke with the service members and presented them with state awards. The defenders were awarded the Orders "For Courage" of the III degree and medals "For Military Service to Ukraine".
Zelensky thanked the military for defending Ukraine and wished them a speedy recovery.
The Head of State also got acquainted with the capabilities of the healthcare institution to receive patients, inspected a CT scanner, an operating room, and an intensive care unit.
The President also awarded the representatives of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the III degree, Princess Olha of the III degree, and Danylo Halytskyi.
“I would like to thank you for your professionalism and work. Until victory, it is necessary to save the lives of many people who are defending our country. You are defending it at your front. I wish you health and I am grateful that you are returning this health to the boys and girls who are at the front," Zelensky said.
