Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has ironically commented on Russia’s plan to create a division of WWII era T-34 tanks, having taken them down from pedestals across Russian settlements.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“After russia began deconserving its T-54 tanks manufactured in late 1940s, they also decided to create a division of WWII era T-34s. The plan is to take them down from pedestals in towns and cities across the country. Abramses, Leopards and Challengers must be really scared now,” Reznikov wrote.
A reminder that Russia is deconserving the Soviet-era T-54 and T-55 tanks, which were taken into service in 1946. They were spotted being transported from the Far East.
