One Russian submarine with four Kalibr missiles on combat duty in Black Sea
The relevant statement was made by Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Firstly, nature is on our side again, the weather is getting worse and forces the enemy’s naval group to reformat and return to home stations. Yesterday, there were two submarine missile carriers on combat duty, and one remained in the evening. This suggests that four Kalibr-type missiles are ready for use. But, let me remind you that appearing on combat duty is an interval of two to three hours,” Humeniuk told.
In her words, it is more difficult for air defense forces to detect a missile launched from a submarine. Thus, Humeniuk called on Ukrainians to react to air raid sirens especially promptly.
A reminder that, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the threat of Russian missile strikes is persisting all over the country.
