As part of the training of Ukrainian defenders in the United Kingdom, the instructors from the Norwegian Home Guard (Heimevernet) are conducting classes on fire control by the small arms section in defense.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Under the expert guidance of the instructors of the Norwegian National Guard, the recruits gained valuable experience and skills that will help them defend Ukraine,” the report states.

According to the General Staff, this training enables Ukrainian soldiers to master combat skills, so that those who have little or no military experience will be able to defend Ukraine.

The large-scale training is aimed at increasing the security and capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in front-line combat operations.

The Kingdom of Norway continues to provide support for the people of Ukraine and continuous assistance in response to Russia’s ongoing violations of international law.

Together with training teams from partner countries, the Norwegian Home Guard’s servicemen are taking part in the training program for the Ukrainian military under the aegis of the United Kingdom.
