Ukraine’s Defense Forces have destroyed an enemy ammunition supply point in the Kakhovka district and a lookout post of Russian invaders on one of islands.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As part of fire missions, Ukrainian missile and artillery units also decimated two enemy artillery systems and four armored vehicles.

According to the South Operational Command, Russian troops continue to cause terror against civilians within the de-occupied areas on the right bank of the Dnieper. Additionally, Russian occupiers are putting pressure on civilians within the occupied left-bank areas: from forced passportization to attacks on residential quarters in order to create propagandist videos discrediting Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Over the past day, Russian troops have opened fire on the Kherson region’s settlements 20 times. The enemy also struck the water area of the Dnieper-Bug Estuary.

Russian projectiles caused damage to several detached houses, apartment blocks and household buildings. One civilian was reported killed.

A reminder that nine Russian warships, including two missile carriers equipped with Kalibr-type cruise missiles, are remaining on combat duty in the Black Sea.
