Ukrainian defenders shoot down 14 Shahed drones in southern Ukraine

The enemy attacked Ukraine from the south with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones overnight, with Ukrainian air defense forces shooting down 14 kamikaze drones.
Ukraine's Air Force said this in a statement posted to the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.
"On the night of April 4, 2023, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the south with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones," the post said.
In total, up to 17 UAVs were likely launched from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
It was earlier reported that Russian aggressors had attacked Odesa city and the Odesa district with attack drones.
