Russian troops have opened fire on the Donetsk region’s urban-type settlement of Velyka Novosilka with tanks. Casualties among civilians were reported.
The relevant statement was made by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The enemy opened fire on the urban-type settlement of Velyka Novosilka with tanks and hit civilians. One person was reported killed and two injured,” Yermak wrote.
A reminder that, on April 4, 2023, four civilians were killed and 11 injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region.
