Two injured in Russia's shelling of Ochakiv – Mykolaiv governor
Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"This morning, on April 7, at 04:54 and 05:00, the enemy launched an artillery and mortar attack on the city of Ochakiv and the water area of the Ochakiv community. As a result, residential buildings, shops, and the city's civilian infrastructure were damaged. Two people were injured, one of them is in serious condition," he said.
According to Kim, two fires also broke out, which were promptly put out by Ukrainian State Emergency Service units.
At 05:20, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the territory of the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties, Kim said.
In Mykolaiv city, and the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly, Kim added.
