Ukrainian forces repel over 40 Russian attacks on Friday

Ukraine's defense forces on Friday repelled more than 40 enemy attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors, where the Russians continue to concentrate their efforts on conducting offensive action.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in an evening update published on Facebook.
Ukrainian combat aircraft launched nine strikes on Russian troop concentration areas throughout the day. Units of the Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery, in turn, destroyed the enemy's ammunition depot.
Throughout the day, the Russian invaders carried out two missile strikes and 14 air strikes. They also mounted over ten attacks using multiple rocket launchers on the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces and the civilian infrastructure of populated areas.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces had destroyed a Russian Su-25 fighter jet near Marinka, Donetsk region.
