Enemy shelling of Kherson region: Pedagogical college damaged in Beryslav
The press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The Russian army struck the center of Beryslav with aerial bombs yesterday evening. As a result of the attack, the building of a vocational educational institution was damaged,” the report says.
It is noted that the attack damaged the structure of the building and the roof, the windows were broken.
According to preliminary information, no one was injured. Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, said in a Facebook post that it was a local pedagogical college.
"A direct hit on the building of V. F. Benkovskyi Beryslav Applied Pedagogical College of Kherson State University! The educational base was destroyed, where primary school teachers and educators had been trained for many decades - the future of education in Kherson region," Spivakovskyi wrote.
As reported, a Russian airstrike partially destroyed buildings on the territory of a grain elevator and a residential building in Beryslav.
