Ukraine downs Russian recon UAV in Mykolaiv region

That’s according to Air Force Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"On April 8, 2023, around 13:00, in Mykolaiv region, air defense forces of Air Force Command South destroyed Russia’s Supercam reconnaissance drone," the statement reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 7, the Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Maryinka district of Donetsk region.

Russian invaders have already launched more than 1,200 missiles and drones targeting key energy facilities across Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have formed three attack UAV units. The combined team, which will perform tasks in the Northern Operational Zone, is staffed with personnel who have undergone appropriate general and specialized military training in Great Britain.
