Medics refusing to obtain Russian passports in opccupied Snizhne laid off
That’s according to a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform saw.
"Russian occupiers continue to increase pressure on Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories. Recently, employees of a town hospital in Snizhne, Donetsk region, who chose not to get Russian passports, were fired," the report reads.
The General Staff added that there are other cases where the Russians exert pressure on residents of the occupied territories. In particular, in the town of Enerhodar, Zaporizhia region, residents are obliged to obtain a permit to move around the region.
"Occupiers subject to intensive vetting those who have applied for the permits to check them for any involvement with the Ukrainian defense forces. In some locations, the invaders even raid their homes," the statement added.
As reported, Russia continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions. Yesterday, Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 enemy attacks in the said areas.
