Ukraine’s Air Force three times hits Russian clusters
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy doesn’t abandon its plans to occupy our territory despite suffering significant losses. They continues to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions. The fiercest battles are raging for Bakhmut and Maryinka. In the past 24 hours, thanks to the coordinated action by the different units of our Defense Forces and due to heroism of our soldiers, 49 enemy attacks were repelled," the report reads.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 19 airstrikes and launched 39 attacks involving MLR systems. Civilian casualties have been reported.
More missile and air strikes are likely to come, according to the report.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation saw no significant changes as no signs of Russian offensive groups being formed were detected. Some Russian units remain on the territory of Belarus.
The enemy's military presence is maintained in the Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine.
During the past day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Halahanivka, Chernihiv region; Studenok, Iskryskivshchyna, and Volfyne in Sumy region; as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ternova, Starytsia, Hatyshche, Mykolaivka, and Budarky in Kharkiv region.
Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, and Tabaivka of Kharkiv region were affected by enemy strikes in the Kupiansk direction.
In the Lyman direction, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Dibrova and Bilogorivka. Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Andriyivka, Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region and Spirne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. Heavy fighting is going on for the town of Bakhmut. The enemy carried out attacks in the Bohdanivka and Predtechyne areas, with no success. Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Novodmytrivka, Kurdyumivka, Severne, and Zalizne of Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy ran unsuccessful offensive efforts in the direction of Severne, with their artillery shelling the settlements of Novokalynyivka, Stepovyivka, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Netaylove, and Karlivka in Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukraine’s defenders repelled numerous enemy attacks in the area of the Maryinka settlement in Donetsk region. At the same time, the settlements of Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.
The Russians carried out no offensive operations in the Shakhtarske direction. The settlements of Shakhtarske, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region were shelled.
The enemy remains on defensive in the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions. They shelled populated areas close to the line of contact, including Olhivske, Chervone, Hulyaipole, Hulyaipilske, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, and Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhia region; Stepanivka, Antonivka in Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.
The Russian Federation continues to impose so-called "passportization" on citizens of Ukraine. In some localities in the Kakhovka district, Kherson region, Russian occupiers force locals to re-register vehicles according to Russian regulations, for which the owners need to have Russian passports.
Activities to speed up the issuance of Russian passports in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region were especially intensified. Migration officials work with no days off. Civil servants and servicemen with the First Army Corps are prioritized for being processed.
