No information leak will change Ukraine's goal of defeating Russia - Shmyhal
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a press conference in Washington on Friday, April 14, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We have no secrets from our reliable strategic partners," he said, commenting on U.S. media reports that Ukraine could allegedly hide plans for a counteroffensive from the United States.
He said that Ukraine and the United States are "very united" in their interaction.
"Nothing will affect or change our plans for a counteroffensive. Our goal is victory, our goal is the liberation of Ukrainian territories within the borders of 1991," Shmyhal said.
He noted that the Ukrainian side is deeply confident in its intentions.
"We are sure that the counteroffensive will take place in the near future. The United States absolutely supports us," he said.
"We are aiming to implement all our plans and achieve our victory," Shmyhal said.
Shmyhal earlier said in an interview with Fox News that the Ukrainian authorities were focused on preparations for a counteroffensive to liberate Ukrainian territories from the Russian invaders.
