Russian aircraft attack Sumy region’s Svesa, civil infrastructure hit

On the night of April 16, 2023, Russian troops launched an air strike on the Sumy region’s urban-type settlement of Svesa. Civil infrastructure was reported hit, and two civilians were injured.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Last night Russians launched an air strike on the outskirts of the urban-type settlement of Svesa. As a result, the premises of a municipal institution were hit. Two persons were injured. The enemy attack also caused damage to two administrative premises,” the report states.
A reminder that, on April 15, 2023, Russia’s helicopter fired unguided air-to-surface missiles at the Sumy region’s Yunakivka community.
