Ukraine’s defense minister reflects on career plans once war ends
That’s according to his interview with the La Razon newspaper, Ukrinform reports.
"This is my dream. Even more so, this is my wife's dream. She cried when I was appointed minister... We are waiting for victory day because that will allow me to sign my resignation papers... This phase of my life has been really, really challenging" Reznikov noted.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the team of the Ministry of Defense visited four countries in 10 days on the eve of the Ramstein meeting to negotiate arms supplies to Ukraine.
“In 10 days, our team visited Athens, Nicosia, Madrid, and Bucharest. We had fruitful meetings with my colleagues – Minister of Defense of Greece Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, Minister of Defense of Cyprus Michalis Georgallas, Minister of Defense of Spain Margarita Robles, Minister of Defense of Romania Angel Tîlvăr and their teams," Reznikov wrote on Facebook.
