In Britain, Norwegian instructors teaching Ukrainian recruits to hold defense - General Staff

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

"Instructors of the Heimevernet as part of the Norwegian mission to train the Ukrainian military in Great Britain under the program of basic military training conduct classes on fire control by the small arms section in a defensive battle," the statement reads.

The General Staff emphasized that under the expert guidance of the instructors with the Norwegian National Guard, the recruits gained “valuable experience and skills” that would help them defend Ukraine.

This training allows Ukrainian forces to master combat skills so that recruits with little to no military experience could effectively defend Ukraine.

The large-scale training is aimed at increasing the security and capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in front-line combat operations.

According to the statement, the Kingdom of Norway continues to support the people of Ukraine, providing ongoing support in response to Russia's violations of international law.

Servicemen of the Norwegian National Guard participate together with the teams of partner countries in the training program for Ukrainian recruits under Britain’s leadership, the report concludes.
