Civilian injured, damage reported as Russians shell Nikopol district
Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Russians attacked civilians again. Throughout the day, the enemy shelled Nikopol district. A 42-year-old man was injured. He received minor shrapnel injuries and was hospitalized," he wrote.
As a result of Russian strikes, a fire broke out in a two-story non-residential building. An educational institution, a healthcare institution, a private enterprise were damaged in Nikopol. Two multi-story buildings, nine residential buildings, two non-residential buildings, three commercial buildings, two cars and a truck, cellphone towers and a power line were affected.
In addition, Chervona Hryhorivka community also came under enemy shelling in the evening. Rescuers are working at the scene. The aftermath is being clarified.
As Ukrinform reported, yesterday Russian troops shelled Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region twice. Two civilians were injured.
