Pentagon chief arrives at Ramstein Air Base

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has arrived at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany where a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will be held on Friday, April 21.

He announced this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"I'm here at Ramstein Air Base where tomorrow I will be hosting the Ukraine Defense Contact Group with more than 40 allies & partner nations to continue our important work towards supporting Ukraine's most urgent security assistance needs," Austin said.

He also posted a video of U.S. soldiers meeting him near the military transport aircraft on which he arrived in Germany.
