Ukrainian, Latvian commanders discuss importance of strengthening Ukrainian air defenses

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi has met with Chief of the National Armed Forces of Latvia, Lieutenant General Leonids Kalnins and emphasized the importance of strengthening Ukrainian air defense forces.
Zaluzhnyi reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
He said this was Kalnins' first official visit to Ukraine.
During the meeting, Zaluzhnyi briefed Kalnins on the current situation at the front. Among other things, he also emphasized the importance of supplying shells and weapons to Ukraine.
Both parties agreed to continue the dialogue and cooperation with a view to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Zaluzhnyi thanked Kalnins and the people of Latvia for their solidarity and support.
