Russia sends nine warships to Black Sea, two armed with cruise missiles
That's according to a statement from the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, there is one Russian warship in the Azov Sea; eight warships in the Mediterranean Sea, including four Kalibr cruise missile carriers, with a total volley of 36 missiles.
During the week, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was crossed by: 138 ships to the Black Sea, 44 of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus; 175 ships to the Azov Sea, 51 of which were moving from the Bosphorus.
These vessels were moving in violation of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
As reported, on April 20, 11 Russian ships, including three Kalibr cruise missile carriers, were on combat duty in the Black Sea.
