Border guards repel three Russian attacks in Donetsk region, including one in Bakhmut

The State Border Guard Service wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Despite the extremely difficult situation in the city, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy's offensive. Yesterday, the enemy's attempts to storm the positions of our soldiers were also unsuccessful, the invaders were eliminated in a shootout," the report says.

Two more attempts by Russian troops to break through were stopped by a State Border Guard Service unit in a positional battle in another sector in Donetsk region.

In total, over the course of defensive operations, border guards neutralized 25 invaders: 9 occupiers were killed, 16 more were wounded.

As reported by Ukrinform, fierce battles are taking place in Bakhmut in Donetsk region - Russian troops are advancing in some areas.
