Ukrainian forces launch nine airstrikes on Russian invaders

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning report on Tuesday, April 25, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past 24 hours, the aircraft of the Defense Forces have carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers and three strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, our defenders shot down ten enemy UAVs of various types. Units of rocket forces and artillery in the past 24 hours hit an anti-aircraft missile system and two electronic warfare stations of the enemy," the General Staff said.

Ukraine's military says that the enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive action in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka areas.

"In the past day, units of Ukraine's defense forces repelled 43 enemy attacks in the said areas of the front. The fiercest fighting is ongoing for Bakhmut and Marinka. In the past day, the enemy launched 6 missile and 62 air strikes and carried out 70 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff added.

It also stated that the probability of the enemy launching missile and airstrikes on targets across Ukraine remains high.

In the Volyn and Polissia areas, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas, the enemy maintains a military presence in the Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled the settlements of Kliusy and Hremiach in the Chernihiv region, Novovasylivka, Kucherivka, Shalyhyne, Stukalivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Mohrytsia and Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Okip, Mali Prokhody, Strilecha, Neskuchne, Hatyshche, Budarky and Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy continues measures to fortify positions in separate sections. The settlements of Topoli, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Masiutivka and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Lyman area. The settlements of Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Pereizne in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut area, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. Heavy fighting continues for the city of Bakhmut. In addition, in the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive action in the direction of the settlements of Novomarkove and Khromove. The settlements of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Pivnichne and New York in the Donetsk region came under enemy shelling.

In the Avdiivka area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive action outside the settlements of Novokalynove, Stepove, Sieverne and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. The settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Tonenke, Lastochkyne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka and Nevelske in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In the Marinka area, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks outside Marinka and Novomykhailivka. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Marinka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Paraskoviivka in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Shakhtarsk area on Monday. The enemy shelled Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka and Komar in the Donetsk region.

The enemy is defending in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas. At the same time, Russian forces shelled the settlements near the contact line, including Novosilka and Novopil in the Donetsk region, Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipilske, Charivne and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Ivanivka and Antonivka in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

To provide medical aid to wounded Russian soldiers, the Russian invaders continue to actively use medical facilities in the settlements of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. In the city of Khrustalnyi, the occupiers deployed a military hospital on the territory of the city hospital.
