Russia doubles number of missile carriers in Black Sea

Russia has doubled the number of missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea, with a potential volley of 24 missiles.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Operational Command South announced this on Facebook.

"Currently, 2 surface and 2 underwater missile carriers are on combat duty, a total volley of Kalibr missiles can reach 24. The level of missile threat is very high," the report says.

According to the command, the Russian naval grouping in the Black Sea currently consists of 13 ships.

As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of April 25, two missile carriers armed with eight Kalibrs were on combat duty in the Black Sea.
