Russia using 369,000 soldiers in battles against Ukraine – Military Media Center
"According to the latest data, Russia has thrown up to 48 brigades and 122 regiments into military operations against Ukraine, the occupation forces number about 315 formations. In total, the enemy uses about 369,000 personnel and about 5,900 units of heavy weapons against the Ukrainian troops," the Military Media Center posted on Telegram.
It is noted that the Kremlin's long-term plans remain unchanged – to force the leadership of Ukraine to negotiate. To do this, the occupiers will soon focus their efforts on going on the offensive with the aim of ousting the Defense Forces from important centers of Donetsk region. Bakhmut, in particular the full control over this city, remains the primary goal of the enemy. The invaders will also continue to try to capture other towns of the region – Avdiivka and Maryinka.
At the same time, the enemy is unlikely to carry out offensive operations from the Belarusian direction in the near future, the Center noted.
It is also emphasized that the enemy seeks to reach the administrative border of Donetsk region and keep the temporarily occupied territories under control. For this purpose, the Russian troops reinforced their land grouping with another regiment.
