Defense Forces: Russians launched 356 strikes on Tavria direction in past day

"At 11:28, the army of terrorists, the Moscow horde, shelled the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia with anti-aircraft missile systems and hit one of the objects, which we will not name. But, according to preliminary information, there were no civilian casualties. The enemy continues military operations in the area of Marinka and Karlivka, carries out assaults – there were 26 assaults over the past day. At night, the enemy also tried to attack, there were eight attacks, 163 strikes at night, the total number of strikes in this direction is 356," Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, said during the national news telethon.

He also noted that the activity of the enemy, who had not used equipment in recent days, had somewhat decreased over the past day. However, the day before, the occupiers used it for the first time in four days in Marinka area.

Dmytrashkivskyi noted that the enemy had brought a tank brigade to Avdiivka area but was not using it at the moment, resorting only to the demonstration of military presence.

According to the spokesman, the enemy is actively moving and rotating personnel in Donetsk direction. At the same time, the Z assault units located there have poor morale.

"We intercept phone calls where they report and record video content. The fighters of this unit complain that they were cheated, that the signed contract is not complied with, money is not paid. People are very confused by the fact that it is forbidden to provide medical aid to wounded on the battlefield, this raises concerns, and they tell their friends and colleagues not to sign contracts and not to agree to this cooperation," the spokesman said.

As reported, on April 24, Dmytrashkivskyi reported that Russian troops were redeploying a tank brigade near Avdiivka in Donetsk region, which will soon be used to attack the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
