Russian troops launch over 40 attacks in four directions - General Staff
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that the enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the mentioned areas.
Bakhmut and Marinka of Donetsk region remain at the epicenter of hostilities. Ukrainian defenders “bravely defend” the area, the report says.
"Today, the Russian Federation launched another massive missile attack on civilian objects and residential buildings. Unfortunately, there were some hits. Civilians were killed and injured. Failing to achieve the desired results on the battlefield, Russian aggressors cynically continue to employ terror tactics, thus grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law," General Staff noted.
In total, during the day, Russian troops launched 23 cruise missiles of the Kh-101 and Kh-555 types, carried out 28 air strikes, and 11 attacks involving multiple launch rocket systems.
It is emphasized that the likelihood of further missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
Ukraine’s Air Force delivered a total of four strikes engaging enemy clusters.

In particular, in Lubianka, Luhansk region, Russian soldiers are stationed in a local school, according to the General Staff. The invaders accommodate their personnel in the buildings of educational facilities, forcing teachers to keep children at school for classes.
