Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy almost 17,000 invaders, 1.2 thousand pieces of equipment, weapons in a month

Oleksandr Pavliuk, the First Deputy Minister of Defense, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In April 2023, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 16,970 enemy personnel. Our defenders also destroyed a significant amount of weapons / military equipment of the Russian troops: 84 tanks, 211 armored combat vehicles, 238 artillery systems, 17 MLRS, 16 air defense systems, 317 vehicles, 63 units of special equipment," the statement said.

It is noted that Ukrainian defenders shot down two enemy planes, three helicopters, as well as 228 UAVs and 21 cruise missiles in a month.
