Russians attack residential areas of Kherson, Kizomys
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Under the procedural guidance of Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office and Oleshky District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into criminal proceedings for the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
On the evening of May 1, 2023, Russian troops launched another attack on the residential areas of Kherson and Kizomys.
According to the preliminary data, one civilian was injured and taken to hospital. The number of casualties is yet to be updated.
Russian projectiles caused damage to apartment blocks and detached houses. Reportedly, Russian invaders used cannon artillery to attack the city of Kherson and dropped guided bombs on the village of Kizomys. The enemy shelling continues.
