The German-made IRIS-T air defense system has destroyed 60 Russian air targets in Ukraine since October 2022.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"The German-made IRIS-T air defense system has been protecting the Ukrainian skies from Russian terrorism since October 2022. Since then, a division of IRIS-T air defense systems has already destroyed more than 60 enemy targets in the air," the post said.

The command added that the second IRIS-T division went on combat duty in Ukraine in late April.
On April 30, Germany confirmed the delivery of the second IRIS-T SLM air defense system to Ukraine.
