Border districts of Sumy region again come under enemy shelling
The Operational Command North reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"As of 08:00 on May 5, Russian troops shelled border districts of Sumy region five times," the report says.
From 00:01 to 00:19, the Russians fired six shells, presumably from a self-propelled artillery system, at the village of Bachivsk.
From 23:57 to 00:05, three hits were recorded, presumably from barrel artillery, in the area of Baranivka village.
From 03:05 to 03:15, the Russians shelled the village of Stara Huta, presumably from a 120mm mortar, launching four mines.
Also, the aggressor launched four strikes, presumably from a 120mm mortar, on the village of Tovstodubove. A house and yard were damaged. There have been no civilian casualties.
From 05:55 to 06:10, the enemy shelled the village of Fotovyzh, presumably from an 82mm mortar, firing 20 mines.
According to the Operational Command North, there have been no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.
As reported by Ukrinform, on May 4, Russian forces launched 14 attacks on border communities of Sumy region, about 90 explosions were recorded.
