Russian invaders shut off all power units at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - mayor

All power units at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant have been shut down.

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

“The occupiers are likely plotting provocations on the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia region. Ruscists reported the shutdown of all units at the Zaporizhzhia NPP," mayor wrote.

Fedorov added that the occupiers were probably preparing a false flag operation to blame the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

He appealed to the residents of the occupied territories to avoid mass gatherings in the coming days, as well as to stay away from the locations where Russian military personnel are stationed.

Earlier it was reported that the enemy is evacuating civilians from the captured territories of the Zaporizhzhia region. They are being transported to Kyrylivka and Berdiansk.
