Border guards prevent Russians from taking up new positions in Donetsk region

In Donetsk region, the Ukrainian border guards prevented the attempt of the Russian invaders to take up new positions and made them retreat with losses.
"Aerial reconnaissance and mortars are a hellish tandem for the occupiers. Soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detected the movement of invaders in Donetsk region with the help of an UAV. Under the cover of forest area, the occupiers tried to take up new positions. The coordinates of the enemy were passed on to the border guards' mortar unit, after which well-aimed shots made the enemy retreat with losses," the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 193,770 Russian invaders from February 24, 2022 to May 6, 2023.
