Bomb technicians come under fire in Kherson region. Six people killed
"The world must know about this! Today, the State Emergency Service lost a part of its family. While performing demining activities in Kherson region, our bomb technicians came under fire. Six of our specialists were killed. Two more, a female paramedic among them, were injured and are currently hospitalized. The equipment was destroyed," Serhiy Kruk, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said, the Service posted on Facebook.
Kruk offered his condolences to the relatives and friends of the killed bomb techs. "Terrorists continue to violate all norms of international law, firing at our guys, who have been trying to demine the territory, which the occupiers heavily contaminated with ammunition," the Head of the State Emergency Service added.
As reported, on Saturday, April 6, the Russian army shelled Kherson region, injuring a woman.
