Russians open fire on Kharkiv region, elderly woman wounded
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the investigative data, Russian troops attacked the Chuhuiv district’s village of Buhaivka around 02:00 p.m., May 7, 2023. A woman, 67, was injured and taken to hospital.
On the morning of May 7, 2023, Russian invaders also shelled the village of Vovchanski Khutory, having caused damage to a detached house.
Pre-trial investigations were launched into the cases of the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In cooperation with police investigators, prosecutors are making every effort to document the war crimes committed by Russian troops.
A reminder that, on May 6, 2023, Russian invaders were shelling the frontline settlements in the Kharkiv region’s Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts.
