Police officers showed the wreckage of an enemy kamikaze drone shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over Kyiv region on the night of May 8.
"The wreckage of a Shahed was found in Kyiv region. These are the latest facts of Russia's inhumane crimes against civilians and the professional and successful work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Kyiv region police posted on Telegram.
As reported, on the night of May 8, the Russians attacked the territory of Ukraine with kamikaze drones. Air defense forces worked, in particular, in Kyiv region. According to preliminary data, dry grass caught fire in several communities of the region and damages due to falling fragments were recorded.
In several districts of Kyiv city, houses and social infrastructure objects were damaged by drone fragments. Civilians were injured.
