Zelensky holds Staff meeting to discuss air raids and ammo supply

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky chaired a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The meeting participants discussed the latest enemy air raids, the situation at the front, and the ammunition supply.

“On Monday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The parties heard information about the consequences of recent air attacks by Russian troops and how to overcome them, and discussed opportunities to enhance the protection of the population and civilian and critical infrastructure,” the President’s Office informs.

As noted, the meeting participants also heard reports on the operational situation at the front and the occupiers' plans for the near future.

The commanders of the operational and strategic groups of troops reported on the course of hostilities in the frontline areas within the responsibility of "Khortytsia", "Tavria", "Odesa", and "North" operational and strategic groups of troops.

The meeting participants analyzed the state of weapons and ammunition supply for the units of the Ukrainian defense forces, as well as the state of training, manning and equipment provision in the newly created brigades.

A separate report was heard on the supply of artillery ammunition and missiles of all types for the needs of the Ukrainian army this year.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, and commanders of troops and operational directions. The meeting was also joined by members of the government, heads of security and law enforcement agencies.
