Russians shell Sumy region’s communities nine times at night and in the morning

At night and in the morning, 40 explosions were recorded in four communities of Sumy region due to Russian shelling.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At night and in the morning, the Russians launched nine attacks (there were 40 explosions) on the border areas," the report says.

As noted, mortar attacks (six explosions) were recorded in Khotin community.

"Znob-Novhorodske community: three UAV airstrikes were launched. A residential building was destroyed, a shop and an agrarian lyceum were damaged in the strikes. The Russians also fired mortars - four explosions," the regional administration wrote.

In Bilopillia community, there were mortar shelling (three explosions) and artillery shelling (16 explosions). The enemy also opened mortar fire (eight explosions) at Yunakivka community, targeting a local farm.

As reported, on Wednesday, Russian forces launched 11 attacks on the border districts of Sumy region. A total of 65 explosions were recorded. Settlements of Velyka Pysarivka, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Khotin, Esman, and Nova Sloboda territorial communities came under fire.
