The curfew will be reduced in Kherson on May 16.

Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Next week, the curfew will be reduced in our community. The corresponding order has already been signed. Starting from May 16, the curfew will be in effect from 21:00 to 05:00 every day," the message says.

In addition, Mrochko noted that the deadline for selling alcoholic beverages in the city has been extended until June 15 this year. The time of the ban on alcohol sales remains unchanged - from 15:00 to 10:00 every day.

The head of the MVA reminded that during the curfew it is forbidden to be on the street and in other public places, as well as to move by transport or on foot.

If a person is on the street during the prohibited time, the curfew patrol has the right to detain him or her and check for documents, as well as to establish the reason for the curfew violation.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, from November 16, 2022, a curfew was in effect on the territory of the Kherson city territorial community from 19:00 to 06:30.

Since March 24, the curfew in Kherson has been shortened - it starts at 20:00 and lasts until 06:00 in the morning.

During the curfew, which lasted in Kherson from 8 p.m. on May 5 to 6 a.m. on May 8, two enemy fire adjusters were detained in Kherson.

By a collective decision of the regional defense council, the ban on alcohol sales at wholesale, retail and restaurant facilities from 10:00 to 15:00 was lifted on March 15.
