National Guard shoots down Russian reconnaissance drone with explosives

On Thursday, May 11, soldiers of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle launched by Russia for reconnaissance.

The National Guard reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Last night, during one of the alarms, fighters of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle designed for reconnaissance, which was launched by the Russians. During the inspection of the drone, it was found that it contained an explosive substance," the National Guard said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 196,920 Russian aggressors from February 24, 2022, to May 11, 2023.
